Eisteddfod half-term Homework

As part of the Eisteddfod celebrations, we ask that all children design and make a Welsh themed mask to wear during our morning of celebrations. Children can incorporate as many aspects of Wales into the mask designs as they wish, e.g. sheep, castle, daffodil, dragon, rugby etc.

We ask that all masks are returned to school on Monday 26th February. The winners of the competition will be announced during the joint Eisteddfod.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.

Attendance

Please could all medical appointments (dentist/optician/doctor) be booked outside the school day or during school holidays if possible?  It has also worked in the past when appointments have been made after morning or afternoon registration times.  If your child’s appointments does occur during the school day, please send the appointment letter/card into school, where the absence can be authorised and a copy of the appointment can be kept on the pupil’s file.
