Attendance

Recently the school has sent home attendance letters with all children. The existing figures are very high with the overall figure for the academic year at 97.04% and the figure for the Spring Term at 98.07% – this is wonderful! The school would like to thank parents for their support in achieving this.

Swimming Year 5 & 6

Children in years 5 and 6 will be starting a three-week swimming block on Monday 3rd June. The sessions will take place at 9:30am each day so we ask that all children are in school prompt in the mornings in order to take the bus to Bedwas Swimming Pool. Please ensure that all children bring a bag with swimwear, a towel and goggles (if possible).

School Meals

Elected members of the council have recently agreed an increase in the price of primary school meals. The school would like to remind parents/ carers that the cost is now £2.10. Please can all dinner money be sent into school on a Monday morning for the week ahead. All money should be in a clearly labelled envelope with your child’s name and amount.
