NSPCC Danceathon

Linked to our recent assembly from the NSPCC ‘Speak out, Stay safe’ we have decided to hold a sponsored event to raise money for the charity. The children have already brought their sponsor forms home and we would be really grateful if you could collect even just a small amount for such a good cause.

Our chosen fundraising activity is a ‘Danceathon’. This will be taking place next Thursday 24th May for Gold Class and Friday 25th May for Silver and Foundation Phase. For the activity the children can bring in a bright and colourful sports kit which might include sweat bands, leg warmers or other fun sporting accessories.

All sponsor forms and money need to be collected by Tuesday June 5th.

Any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Johnson

As part of the new Foundation Phase topic, the children have been learning about farm animals. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Johnson for sparing the time to come along last Friday and share their knowledge with the children.  The children had prepared a selection of questions for them and they also brought a selection of artefacts from the farm and a very popular chicken called ‘Blueberry Muffin’. It was such a magical experience for the children who have not stopped talking about it. Thank you so much.

School closure

Unfortunately after a risk assessment and consultation with the chair of governors, the school will be closed. Please look for updates on the schools closure website.
