Although rather hot, the Machen Show was a huge success this year. Thank you to the PTA, year 6 pupils and the staff in Rhydri who all manned the stalls during the day. Thank you to Parent Governor Mrs. Freeman for her generous donation of prizes for the Year 6 stall and to also to Mr. and Mrs. Bruten for donating bottles of wine as prizes. All support throughout the day was greatly appreciated.
Very well done to all pupils who took part in the Machen Show individual competitions this year. We had several winning entries across the school as well as our class entries – Well done everyone!

Apologies for putting the wrong location for the Winter Fayre on the last newsletter. It will be taking place in the school not the Parish Hall on Monday 18th December at 3.30 p.m.
We are currently putting together our pupil artwork calendar for 2018. As with previous years we rely on sponsorship from local businesses to help with the printing costs. If any parents or friends of the school would like an advert to be included in the calendar, please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
