A PTA Easter disco will be held in Rudry Village Hall on Monday 26th March, 4pm – 6pm. The entry cost will be £2 per child and £1 for each additional child, which includes a hot dog and a drink.
A big thank you to the PTA for purchasing a new caravan and trailer for the pupils in Nursery and Reception to enjoy. Already, the children have started using it as an ice-cream van as part of their daily role play activities. Without the extensive fundraising by our PTA, the school would not have been able to purchase this fantastic play equipment – Thank you so much!
Mrs Gettings would also like to thank the parents and grandparents who helped her create a new outdoor construction area for the pupils in Rainbow class last week. The children absolutely love their new area and are looking forward to using it in the warmer weather. If you have any child sized hard plastic construction hats, which your children no longer use or play with, we would love to use these in our new area.
We are currently fundraising for an outdoor classroom, which will be used by children from years 1-6. If you would like to get involved with this project or have anything you could donate, please contact Mrs Hayhoe.
Our joint annual Eisteddfod has been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday 27th March in Rudry Village Hall. All children are requested to wear Welsh themed or red clothing to school on this day.
Unfortunately, year 6 pupils will not be able to join us for the morning events as they will be taking part in an exciting Formula 1 event in St. Martin’s, where they will be racing cars against fellow year 6 pupils in neighbouring schools. We ask that all year 6 pupils bring a packed lunch to school on this date. If you require any further information, please contact Mrs Curtis.
