Half-Term

Thank you for your continued support this term. A reminder that Friday 22nd February is an INSET day for staff and therefore school will be closed to pupils on this day. Children return to school on Monday 4th March. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable half-term break

Estyn Inspection

Thank you to all the parents and carers who shared their views with the inspection team. As usual, our children did us all proud and as a school, we are very pleased with how the inspection went. We would also like to thank all the staff and governors for their incredible hard work and support during this time and over the course of the term. The official inspection report will be published on 24th April and we will be able to share the findings with you on this date.

Welsh Heritage Competition

Over half-term, we would like the children to produce a piece of work related to our Welsh heritage. This can be in any form they choose and related to any aspect of Welsh heritage that they find interesting. We would like all pieces brought into school on Monday 4th March in preparation for our Eisteddfod on the Tuesday. We look forward to seeing a variety of creations.

Welsh Heritage Weeks

We will be celebrating our Welsh heritage during the weeks of 18th February and 4th March. During these weeks, children will have opportunities to explore many aspects of Welsh heritage and we invite them to dress up for an Eisteddfod on Tuesday 5th March. Pupils may wear traditional Welsh costume or a costume inspired by aspects of national importance.
