Healthy Eating

A reminder that the only mid-morning snacks that we like to see are fresh fruit or vegetables. Grapes should be cut lengthways for safety reasons. Children are encouraged not to bring crisps, nuts, sweets or chocolate bars for breaktime.

We also encourage our pupils who bring a packed lunch to think about including a healthy, balanced diet within their lunch box. We will be discussing this with the pupils in class as we have recently seen an increase in sugary items at lunchtime which we are aiming to discourage as part of our commitment to being a healthy school.Thank you for supporting us with this aim.
