‘Take One Picture’ Museum Visit

We are looking forward to seeing the children tomorrow following the half term break!  Please remember that Year 1 – 6 are visiting Cardiff Museum as part of our ‘Take One Picture’ project.

The aim of this project is for classes to use a piece of art work as ideas for their learning across literacy, numeracy and other subjects. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to be creative and develop their knowledge and understanding of art.

Children will be off the school premises all day and will therefore need a packed lunch as well as a suitable coat. Children in receipt of free school meals will have a lunch provided.  Children are also allowed to bring a maximum of £5.00 to spend in the museum shop.

If not already completed, it would be really helpful if all parents/carers could sign the permission slip at the end of last week’s newsletter and return to school tomorrow morning.  Entry to the museum is free; however, to cover the cost of the coaches parents are asked to contribute £3.00.  Thank you to everyone who has already returned their permission slip.
